Warped 203
24 W x 42 H x 1.5 D”. Oil on canvas.
Warped 2011- 2020. The bending and distorting of subjective abstraction. This series consists of a sequence of paintings based on distortion and derivation of abstract form. Thick paint, immense brush strokes and forceful mark making techniques are prevalent. The paint sometimes thickens up as space crams in, and thins down where space stretches out.
The painting shown here holds a different overall composition than the other work within the series. It has a vertical progression, with a horizontal division across it’s shorter width. Green dominates with the lower left corner thickly applied, while the top half is thinner paint that was rendered more precisely. This piece is more calm and collected than others in the series.
After purchase, a shipping quote will be produced and emailed to the buyer with a transparent breakdown of the cost. Insurance, tracking and signature upon delivery will necessarily be included.
